Annotations Analytic

  1. Click the More button in the Analytics card to open the list modal:

  1. Select Annotation from the displayed modal window:

  1. Type a name for your Analytic so you can find it in the list easily later

  1. The app will display an Instruction banner at the top of the 3D map panel. And an annotations toolbar at the top of the bottom drawer

  1. To draw an annotation, click the desired tool in the tool bar then click on the map.

    1. When you click the toolbar, a new row is created in the bottom drawer for that annotation item.

    2. Click the toolbar for each item you want to add, each time you want to add one. Then click the map to draw.

  1. Polygons: work identical to drawing polygons in Surface Area and other analytics with polygons. Select “Set color…” in the corresponding row in the bottom drawer to change the color of the polygon.

  2. Lines and Arrows: work identical to drawing lines in Distance & Grade analytic. Select “Set color…” in the corresponding row in the bottom drawer to change the color of the polygon.

  3. Points: work identical to adding points in Point Picking analytic, but in Annotations you add one by clicking on the map, then click the toolbar again to add another.

    1. Select “Set color…” in the corresponding row in the bottom drawer to change the color of the marker.

    2.  Select “Set icon...” in the corresponding row in the bottom drawer to change the icon displayed in the marker.

  1. Text Labels: click the map to set the location, then click the 3 dots menu in the corresponding row in the drawer, select rename, then enter the text to be displayed in the label.

  2. To edit any annotations, click the row in the drawer to select it, then click the item in the map to edit it.

  1. For each annotation item, you can click the 3 dots menu in the corresponding row in the drawer and choose to Rename or Delete.

  2. When done, click Done to save your progress.

  3. To edit any of the annotation items, click the Edit button at the top right of the bottom drawer to enter edit mode.

  4. To rename or delete the analytic, click Done, then click the three dots button to the right of the Edit button.
