Step-by-Step Workflow: Navigating Data Discovery

Select the “Explore” tab in the top left of the navigation menu. Data Discovery will load with the last viewed Organization selected by default.

• Apply a date filter to display only datasets from specific date ranges.

• Zoom into your area of interest and datasets will automatically filter.

Select a dataset that covers the AOI and is from a relevant date.

Timeline Filtering

Set a date range to only show datasets within a specific time period. After that, navigate through dataset dates via a controllable timeline at the bottom of the map.

  •  Click & drag to move left and right
  •  Zoom in & out to change the displayed dataset date ranges

 Area of Interest Filtering

After you have set a date range, Zoom in to a specific area of interest on-site

  • Datasets will automatically filter to show only what covers the area on the user's screen.
  • Easily see available datasets covering the needed areas.

Dataset Details

Select a dataset that fits your location & date criteria

Quickly view the parameters of the dataset:

    • Settings used.
    • Date and time of capture.
    • Available outputs (point cloud, 3Dmesh, etc.)
    • Sensor and drone used.

Navigate directly to DataHub by clicking View dataset to export processed outputs, perform analytics, or view additional visualizations of the selected dataset.

Known Limitations

Currently Pre-Processed Files (PPF) are not available in Data Discovery view. However, they will be included in an upcoming release in the near term future.

•Loading more than 300 datasets in a single Data Discovery view may degrade performance, depending on the user's browser resources.
