3DR Telemetry Radio drivers for Q Ground Control and OSX

Using OSX to connect 3DR telemetry radios to QGround Control may require a driver for the FTDI chip used in the 3DR Radios. You will need to install this driver if QGroundControl does not recognize the telemetry radio you are attempting to connect to your Mac. For instance, when you are completing a compass calibration of your Skycatch UAV.

Identifying if the radio is recognized
When the telemetry radio is connected and recognized by OSX you can open a terminal window and enter this line:
Thomas‐Waclo‐81:~ thomaswaclo$ ls /dev/tty.*
/dev/tty.Bluetooth‐Incoming‐Port /dev/tty.usbserial‐DN009GYG
where thomaswaclo will be the name of your computer. /dev/tty.usbserial‐DN009GYG is the 3DRradio and shows up in QGround Control with this same name.  This name will vary from radio to radio.
