FAQ: Why is my Edge1 unit not reading my SD card to import data?

One of the most common issues when importing data is when the SD card is not being recognized or is taking a long time to be read by the Edge1 unit. This is a known issue on Edge1 units running v5.4.3 and below.

The most likely cause is using an unsupported drone camera model to capture the dataset stored inside the SD card. As such, it is highly recommended to avoid using unsupported camera models for any mission.

If you happen to run into this issue, please transfer the unsupported dataset to another storage or have your Edge1 unit updated to the latest firmware version.
