FAQ: Why can't I search for a specific location in the viewer?

Skycatch processes the aerial photos you collect with your drone to create a 2D map and 3D data that is then uploaded to your Skycatch Account. The way your maps are organized on the viewer is my site, and for each site, you can have multiple different data captures reflecting the change over time of that site.

Each of your sites will automatically focus on the location of the map you have uploaded to your site. This location is set using the geotags in your uploaded photos when you create the site for the first time while uploading your data. You can then search and select your site from the list of sites on your account by using the site selector.

Searching and finding a specific geographic location or spot using satellite imagery is not supported as the location of your map is automatically loaded.
